Loy Miller Talley, PC, a growing CPA firm in Alton, Illinois, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accountant to join our team!
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented accounting professional with public accounting experience who enjoys working directly with clients, taking ownership of assignments, and being part of a collaborative team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients, providing a variety of accounting and tax services, including:
- Perform general bookkeeping, payroll processing, and account reconciliations.
- Conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements.
- Prepare financial statements and related reports.
- Prepare individual and business income tax returns.
- Communicate directly with clients to address accounting and financial needs.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and exceptional client service.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher.
- 1or more years of public accounting or CPA firm experience.
- Experience with tax preparation, financial statements, and general accounting functions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
