Loy Miller Talley, PC has an opportunity for a full-time auditor in Alton, IL. This is an immediate opening and a great opportunity to work with a growing CPA firm. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform audit engagements for a variety of entities, with an emphasis in local government audits.
- Conduct general bookkeeping, payroll, and reconciliations, etc.
- Perform review, compilation, and prepare financial statements.
- Prepare tax returns.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or higher.
- CPA certified, CPA exam eligible, or active pursuit.
- Familiarity with auditing standards and GAAP.
- 1+ years of CPA firm experience.
